(FV Newswire) December 29, 2009 -- Expanding rail safety systems engineers, Rowe Hankins, has appointed Damon Cadman as sales engineer to look after London and the Southern counties. Damon has 20 years experience in the rail traction industry working in procurement for British Rail, train operating companies, London Underground, Bombardier and Govia.
In his new role Damon will work closely with engineers in TOC’s, rolling stock companies and train manufacturers to improve fleet safety and performance. “I am looking forward to the technical challenges of the new job, particularly working with the Rowe Hankins technical team to develop and deliver products that improve safety, efficiency and allow operators to improve fleet uptime,” Damon commented.
Rowe Hankins specialise in electro mechanical systems – with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability. These range from hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers from Eaton Heinemann for protection of vital systems, without nuisance tripping, OTMR’s from HaslerRail, for which Rowe Hankins are the exclusive UK provider. Innovative systems are also engineered in-house by Rowe Hankins. These include their speed and distance monitoring systems, earth leakage monitoring devices and the intelligent wheel flange lubrication system.
Currently relocating from Hampshire to Kent, Damon’s outside interests centre on bringing up his family and a different mode of transport – his children’s two horses.
